Bristol Street, in the amount <br />of $1,010,000. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Bristol Corridor Specific Plan, approved by the City Council in 1992, <br />includes street widening on Bristol Street from Pine Street to Third <br />Street. These improvements are needed to improve traffic flow, which is <br />currently operating at an unacceptable level of service. <br /> <br />Construction of these improvements is estimated to begin in the fall of <br />2006. To accommodate the widening, it is necessary to acquire the <br />Spiegel property located at 124 S. Bristol Street (Exhibit 1). Efforts <br />to relocate Spiegel's existing tenant, All Auto Parts, will continue in <br />accordance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance Act. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed <br />project has been determined to be adequately evaluated in previously <br />prepared Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Assessment EIR <br />No. 89-01 approved by City Council in 1990. <br /> <br />251-1 <br />
