<br />Pedestrian Safety Grant Applications <br />June 20, 2005 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Environmental reviews will be conducted for those projects that receive <br />funding and will be presented to the City Council when the construction <br />contract (s) is awarded. These types of projects typically qualify for <br />Categorical Exemptions. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Since the Safe Routes to School Program is federally funded, the City <br />will need to provide 10% matching funds for any project that receives <br />these monies. Funds for the City's 10% match for projects receiving SR2S <br />grant funds will need to be budgeted in the City's FY 2006/07 Capital <br />Improvement Program. <br /> <br />~t.'d~c <br />6&1 J es G.
