MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA May 15, 1984 The meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m., by Mayor R. W. Luxembourger in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. Councilm~nbers present were John Acosta, Gordon Bricken, Daniel E. Griset, P. Lee Johnson, Patricia A. McGuigan, Dan Young, and Mayor Luxembourger. Also present were City Manager Robert C. Bobb, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper, Assistant Clerk of the Council Nancy Byron Dean, and members of the City's Executive Management team. EXECUTIVE SESSION Following the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Council inlnediately recessed to Executive Session at 5:46 p.m., and reconvened at 6:00 p.m., with all members present. COY~IUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY Council recessed to the Cc~waunity Redevelopment Agency at 6:00 p.m., and reconvened at 6:55 p.m. JOINT PUBLIC HEARING - CITY COUNCIL AND CO~4UNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT WITH SANTA ANA VENTURE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF FASHION SQUARE COMMERCIAL CENTER The Mayor opened the public hearing regarding the sale of property known as Fashion Square Coa~nercial Center by the Coamunity Redevelopment Agency. The Assistant Clerk of the Council reported no written cor~nunications. There were no speakers on the matter. The Mayor closed the public hearing. MOTION: Adopt resolution. RESOLUTION NO. 84-61 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA MAKING CERTAIN ENVIROk~VIENTAL FINDINGS AND CERTAIN FINDINGS WITH RESPECT TO THE CONSIDERATION TO BE RECEIVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMII~T AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA PURSUANT TO A PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND SANTA ANA VENTURE FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE SANTA ANA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND APPROVING THE SALE OF SAID REAL PROPERTY UPON THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAINED IN THAT AGREEMENT.
