FISHER FOR <br />VETERINARY SERVICES <br /> <br />aLJa <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />---- <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the Ci ty Manager and <br />Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with Dr. Kristi Fisher to <br />provide veterinary services for the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park for a <br />one-year period in an amount not to exceed $35,000. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park is required by the United States <br />Department of Agriculture to provide veterinary services for the <br />collection of animals maintained at the Zoo. Dr. Fisher will serve as the <br />primary medical officer for the Zoo and provide a comprehensive program of <br />preventative and curative medical care for the exotic animal collection. <br />Veterinary services for the domestic animal collection included in the <br />Crean Family Farm are provided under separate agreement.
