Provide additional leisure time opportunities to residents by <br />increasing the number of self-sustaining adult and youth <br />classes <br />. Complete $1.5 million renovation of EI Salvador Park <br />Recreation Center <br />. Begin design and construction of $2.5 million renovation of <br />Jerome Recreation Center <br />. Design and construct street improvements in the Delhi <br />Neighborhood <br />. Construct improvements on significant portions of five <br />arterials: Grand, Main Street, McFadden Avenue, Broadway <br />Avenue and Civic Center Drive <br />. Begin widening projects on Edinger Avenue, the Fairview and <br />MacArthur intersection and the First Street bridge <br />. Invest in infrastructure improvements <br />. Facilitate the grant and privately funded expansion of the <br />Bowers Museum <br />. Continue efforts to attract artists, quality restaurants, and <br />complementary development in the Artists Village <br />. Explore revenue raising opportunities including a Community <br />Facilities District to support infrastructure and operations <br />enhancement for new large development projects <br />. Finalize the Santa Ana Boulevard Specific Plan <br />. Conduct the East First and Fourth Streets Corridor planning <br />study <br />. Facilitate the relocation of the Fourth District court of Appeal <br />to the Civic Center <br />. Partner with OCTA in efforts to reauthorize Measure M <br />. The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) funding for FY 05-06 is <br />$35,090,055 <br />· Funding for neighborhood Improvements under the CIP program is <br />$1,831,500 <br />. Total arterial improvements including arterial widening and, street <br />reconstruction and resurfacing is $16,255,625 <br />. Traffic improvements under the CIP program is $2,561,780 <br />. CIP funding for infrastructure Improvements totals $4,820,000 <br />.
