<br />(5) Assistant city manager; <br />(6) Deputy city manager for development services; <br />(7) Police chief; <br />(8) Fire chief; <br />(9) Executive director of finance and management services; <br />(10) Executive director of public works; <br />(11) Executive director of parks, recreation and community services; <br />(12) Executive director of personnel services; <br />(13) Library director; <br />(14) Executive director of community development; <br />(15) Executive director of planning and building safety. <br /> <br />Section 3. Section 3-300.5 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended, such that it reads as: <br /> <br />Sec. 2-300.5. Executive Director of Planning and Building Safety. <br /> <br />All references in this Code, or in any resolution, agreement, regulation, <br />authorization or directive of the city council, the city manager or any board <br />or commission of the City of Santa Ana, or in any document whatsoever <br />that predates the effective date of this ordinance, to the planning director, <br />the building director, the director of building safety, the director of planning <br />and development service, or the deputy city manager for development <br />services, shall be deemed references to executive director of planning and <br />building safety. <br /> <br />Section 4. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of <br />this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision <br />of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the <br />remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance and each section, <br />subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of the fact that <br />anyone or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions be <br />declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 6th day of June 2005 <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Ordinance No. NS-2686 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
