STATUS REPORTS <br /> <br />Seismic Ordinance Compliance~ Neighborhood Improvement Program <br /> <br />The Executive Director of Community Development & Housing reviewed the <br />status of the seismic compliance effort in the City, stating that <br />since his last report, more buildings are either in compliance or are <br />in the process. He showed Council a map depicting the neighborhoods <br />in the City and said that 70%-80% of the City presented no problem. <br />He then answered questions posed by Council. <br /> <br />EAST FOURTH STREET MERCHANTS <br /> <br />The City Manager stated that a meeting had been set for Thursday, July <br />19, in the Council Chambers, for the East Fourth Street property <br />owners. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 3:35 p.m., and reconvened at 3:47 p.m., in Room <br />147, City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. <br /> <br />Councilmembers discussed their concerns with respect to Consent <br />Calendar items.
