Harbor Boulevard, addressed Council <br />requesting that Police enforcement efforts relative to prostitution be <br />made in the daytime as well as the evening. <br /> <br />The Police Chief addressed Council, s~narizing Police enforc~nent <br />activities in the area and explained personnel and criminal justice <br />constraints which prevented the Department from being as effective as <br />he would like. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan requested that Councilmembers be made aware of <br />cc~munitymeetings conducted by the Police Department. <br /> <br />Maggie Thurm, 1306 N. Jackson, addressed Council with a similar <br />c~nplaint regarding prostitution in the Harbor Boulevard at Washington <br />area. <br /> <br />INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> <br />The Council recessed to the Industrial Develoument Authority at <br />3:01 p.m., and reconvened at 3:03 p.m., with all members present. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />75. ISSUANCE OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BONDS - RITCHEY CENTER NORTH <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing regarding the issuance of <br />Industrial Develol~nent Bonds for Ritchey Center North. <br /> <br />The Program Manager of Economic Develo~nent presented the staff <br />report and recommendations. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council reported no written con~aunications. <br /> <br />There were no speakers.
