MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFOPNIA <br /> <br />October 24, 1984 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:54 p.m., by Mayor R. W. <br />Luxembourger, in Room 831, City Hall, 20 Civic Center Plaza. <br />Councilmembers present were Daniel E. Griset, P. Lee Johnson, Patricia <br />A. McGuigan and Mayor Luxembourger. Also present were City Manager <br />Robert C. Bobb, Assistant City Attorney Richard Lay, Clerk of the <br />Council Janice C. Guy, m~nbers of the City's management staff, and the <br />public. Councilmembers John Acosta, Gordon Bricken ar~ Dan Young were <br />absent. <br /> <br />ACTION BY THE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENTCO~ISSION/C~J~UNITY REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY <br /> <br />The Council recessed to the Cora~unity Redevelopment Agency at 5:55 p.m. <br />and reconvened at 6:03 p.m., with the safe, members present. <br /> <br />The City Manager requested the Councilmembers calendar 3:00 p.m., <br />November 8, 1984, in the Santa Aha Stadiu~n for a promotional event for <br />the upcoming City Christmas Parade. <br /> <br />City Attorney ~dward J. Cooper joined the raeeting at 6:03 p.m. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />At 6:04 p.m., the Council recessed to Executive Session and reconvened <br />at 6:26 p.m., with the same members present. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION REPORT <br /> <br />MOTION: Approve agreements and authorize execution by Mayor <br /> and Clerk. <br /> <br />JT. EXERCISE OF POWERS A(~qEEM~T between the City and the City of <br />Orange creating the Transportation System Improv~nent Authority. <br /> <br />SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT with Mutual Releases by and among City of Orange, <br />City of Santa Ana, Cor~nunity Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa <br />Ana, Santa Ana Venture, Henry T.
