NO. 00-064) <br /> <br />APPROVED <br />o As Recommended <br />o As Amended <br />o Ordinance on 1 st Reading <br />o Ordinance on 2nd Reading <br />o Implementing Resolution <br />o Set Public Hearing For <br /> <br />Ma <br /> <br />\CiTY MANAGER <br /> <br />CONTINUED TO <br /> <br />FILE NUMBER <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />Renew the contract with Golden Office Trailers, Inc. for the lease of a <br />24' x 60' veterinary trailer for a 12 -month period in the amount of <br />$15,451. 35. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />On June 19, 2000 the City Council awarded a contract to Golden Office <br />Trailers, Inc. for a veterinary facility at the Santa Ana Zoo. The <br />previous facility was a 12'x40' trailer which had been in use since <br />1978. The trailer provides the required space necessary for a surgical <br />room, X-ray room, and an animal treatment and holding area. The <br />original contract was for a 60-month period. The Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Agency wishes to continue the lease for another 12 <br />months. The vendor has performed satisfactorily during the past <br />contract period and has agreed to renew the contract without an <br />increase in pricing.
