The Center has received Families and Communities <br />Together (FaCT) funding from the County of Orange Social Service Agency <br />since 1999. The proposed resolution authorizes the Parks, Recreation and <br />Communi ty Services Agency to submi t a proposal to renew funding to the <br />Corbin Family and Community Center effective July 1, 2006, and allow for <br />four additional one-year renewals. <br /> <br />The FaCT program requires one lead agency and a minimum of three funded <br />partners. Under the current agreement, Children's Bureau of Southern <br />California serves as the lead agency and the Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Agency provides information and referral services, and <br />childcare for patrons seeking services. In addition, staff assists with <br />the coordination of volunteer support. The Children's Bureau of Southern <br />California again proposes to be the lead agency, and the proposed funded <br />partners are the City of Santa Ana Parks, Recreation and Community <br />Services Agency, Human Option, and Olive Crest. Per the County's request, <br />the resolution authorizes the City Manager or his designee to sign the <br />proposal form, agreement and any amendments. <br /> <br />55A-1 <br />
