Uniforms are provided to <br />insure that the inmates are easily identifiable and to minimize the <br />introduction of contraband items into the holding facility. Staff <br />requests shipments of inmate uniforms on a semi-annual basis in order <br />to maintain a sufficient inventory. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on July 15 and 18, 2005, and <br />bids were solicited.
