EXECUTIVE SESSION REPORT <br /> <br />MOTION: Authorize settlement of the lawsuit entitled Corona <br /> vs. City of Santa Ana, in the anount of $30,000.00. <br /> <br />MOTION: Luxe~abour ger SECOND: McGuigan <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Hart, Johnson, Luxembourger, <br /> McGuigan, Young <br />None <br />None FILE 410.10 <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Authorize settlement of the workers' c~npensation case <br />of Alvarado vs. City of Santa Ana for a compromise and <br />release in the ~nount of $7,500.00. <br /> <br />MOTION: Hart SECOND: Luxembourger <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Hart, Johnson, Luxembourger, <br /> McGuigan, Young <br />None <br />None FILE 410.10 <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY - INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> <br />The Council recessed to the Housing Authority at 3:49 p.m., and <br />subsequently to the Industrial Develol~nent Authority, and reconvened <br />at 3:52 p.m., with all members present. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COYg~3NICATIONS <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan reported that the City had been recognized for <br />outstanding service by the Santa Ana Neighborhood Housing Services <br />organization and presented the Certificate of Recognition given to her <br />at the Awards Ceremony to Mayor Griset. <br /> <br />Councilmember Young inquired as to whether the designs produced by the <br />recent charrette campetition would be available to the Urban <br />Innovations Group currently working on a new design for the downtown. <br />The City Manager responded that the design charrette had involved the <br />South Main Street area which was outside of the Urban Innovations <br />Group effort.
