Provide opportunities for exposure <br />to the fine arts. <br />3. 90% of children/youth seeking <br />referrals will be linked to the services <br />Track program participants that were 90% of program participants <br />linked to services sought. linked to services sought. <br />Description of Work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12- <br />month contract period including, services to be provided, program goals, client <br />characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. <br />During 2005-06, CDBG funding will support Saint Joseph Ballet's Year -Round Program <br />which includes the following services: dance training, performance opportunities, <br />academic programs, family services, student enrichment opportunities and outreach <br />programs. Through these services Saint Joseph Ballet seeks to empower low-income <br />youth from diverse backgrounds to strengthen self-esteem, self-discipline and a sense of <br />accomplishment. The Year -Round Program will serve approximately 4,245 inner-city <br />youth and parents in 2005-06, the majority of whom are Latino and reside in the city of <br />Santa Ana. CDBG funding will be used to cover a significant percentage of the <br />Academic Manager's (52%) and Student Service Coordinator's (57%) salaries. Each of <br />these program staff members provide direct service to Saint Joseph Ballet families and <br />dedicate 100% of their time to programming. <br />Ex A <br />
