MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />January 7, 1985 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 1:13 p.m. in Roc~ 147, City Council <br />Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, by Mayor Daniel E. Griset. <br />Councilmembers present were John Acosta, Wilson B. Hart, P. Lee <br />Johnson, R. W. Luxe~bourger, Dan Young and Mayor Griset. Also present <br />were City Manager Robert C. Bobb, City Attorney ~dward J. Cooper, <br />Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy, and m~nbers of the press and <br />City's Executive Management staff. Councilmember Patricia A. McGuigan <br />was not present but joined the meeting for the evening session. <br /> <br />Library Tour <br /> <br />The Council iranediately recessed to the Santa Ana Library for a tour <br />and d~nonstration of the Library's ccmputerized circulation control <br />system. <br /> <br />At 1:57 p.m., the same Counciln~nbers returned to Room 147. <br /> <br />Harbor Corporate Park <br /> <br />William ~l~dy, representative of the Lee Sanmis Company, described the <br />proposed develo~nent and leasing of the property located on the former <br />site of the AMF Voit Company in Southwest Santa Ana. He explained <br />Alpha Micro had been secured as an anchor tenant for the site, and <br />that tenants for four additional buildings would be sought by Cushman <br />& Wakefield, leasing agent for the property. He indicated the <br />structures would contain "ribbon glass" providing a "corporate look" <br />for the buildings, and that groundbreaking was scheduled to occur in <br />February. Lynn Dort, representing Cushman & Wakefield, briefly <br />discussed leasing arrangements. <br /> <br />AdvisoryCo~nission to Downtown Develo~nent Coranission <br /> <br />The Downtown Develot~nent Cc~nission Director distributed a memo <br />entitled "Advisory Board to the Downtown Develoument Cc~nission," <br />dated January 7, 1985 and requested that Councilmembers establish an <br />Advisory Board to the Downtown Develot~nent Con~nission as soon as <br />possible. Councilmember Acosta requested that action on this item be <br />deferred to February, since he would be out of town at the Develo~nent <br />Conmission's next meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />JANUARY 7, 1985 <br /> <br /> <br />
