MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />January 22, 1985 <br /> <br />The Joint Meeting of the Downtown Develo~nent Co~mission, the C~,,,unity <br />Redevelo~ent Agency and the City Council was convened at 7:03 p.m., by <br />Vice Mayor Johnson in the Standard Concrete Building, 117 West Fourth <br />Street. Councilmembers present were Wilson B. Hart, R. W. Luxembourger, <br />Patricia A. McGuigan and Vice Mayor Johnson. Also present were Assistant <br />City Manager Rex Swanson, City Attorney Edward J. Cooper and Clerk of the <br />Council Janice C. Guy. Councilmember Dan Young and City Manager Robert C. <br />Bobb joined the meeting at 7:05 p.m. and 7:06 p.m., respectively. Mayor <br />Daniel E. Griset joined the meeting at 7:29 p.m. Councilmember John <br />Acosta was absent. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />The Council adjourned to the Community Redevelo~nent Agency at 7:04 p.m., <br />and reconvened at 8:42 p.m., with all members present, except <br />Councilm~mber Acosta. <br /> <br />12. TENANT RELOCATION ASSISTANCE <br /> <br />Edward Flores, representing Concilio, Gilbert Melendez, representing <br />the David Coalition, and LaDale Dunbar, representing the Feedback <br />Foundation, spoke regarding the proposed agresg]ent for tenant <br />relocation and family services assistance, indicating their concern <br />that administrative costs not be deducted from the $100,000.00 in <br />CDBG funds allocated to the progran, but that additional funds be <br />provided for that purpose. <br /> <br />MOTION: 1) Accept proposal of Feedback Foundation for tenant <br /> relocation and family services assistance; <br /> <br />2) Authorize Mayor and Clerk to execute subsequent <br /> contracts subject to approval by the City Attorney; <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Instruct staff to identify potential CDBG funding <br />sources for administrative costs for the program and <br />report to the Council on February 4, 1985 regarding <br />same and to pursue alternate grant funding sources <br />to cover administrative costs; and <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Instruct staff to provide Council with a financial <br />and performance evaluation of the Feedback Foundation's <br />administration of the relocation assistance program by <br />June 30, 1985. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />32 <br /> <br />JANUARY 22, 1985 <br /> <br /> <br />
