Under Title 15 of the <br />Board of Corrections Minimum Standards for Jails( the Santa Ana Holding <br />Facility is required to provide clean bath towels and linen to all <br />inmates upon incarceration, and must provide an exchange of clean linen <br />on a weekly basis while the inmates are in custody. Each inmate is <br />provided with one blanket, two sheets( one pillowcase, and one towel. <br />In order to meet the mandated requirement, the holding facility must <br />maintain a sufficient inventory of bath towels and linens to allow for <br />continuous supply during the laundering and exchange process. Staff <br />requests shipments of bath towels and linens on a quarterly basis in <br />order to maintain sufficient inventory. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on July 22 and 25, <br />bids were solicited.
