AHFS shall provide automatic coin-operated vending machines and services <br />for the City of Santa Ana in accordance with the terms and conditions of this <br />Request for Proposal. <br />AHFS shall famish, install, maintain, service, repair and/or replace and stock <br />the automatic coin-operated vending machines. Such machines shall remain <br />the property of AHFS, and AHFS must immediately remove all such machines <br />upon the occurrence of the expiration, termination, or cancellation of the <br />contract. <br />The products which must be vended shall include, but shall not necessarily be <br />limited to, can sodas, bottled soda and snacks. <br />AHFS shall provide the number of and type of vending machines required by <br />the City. <br />AHFS shall agree and understand that the number of machines shown on 1 I <br />Attachment A-1 & A-2 is the minimum number of machines desired by the I I <br />City and that the City reserves the right to increase the number and type of <br />machine to be provided by AHFS. <br />AHFS to provide transportation, labor, and supervision of packing and <br />unpacking, installation and maintenance ofcoin-operated vending machines at <br />public facilities owned and lease by the City, as required. Authorization for <br />method of installation shall be famished to AHFS prior to shipment of <br />machines. <br />All equipment must be new when installed (or refurbished like new, but no <br />older than three (3) years, and must be in clean first-class condition). Energy- <br />saving equipment is desired when available. AHFS must advise City in <br />writing of any changes to equipment. <br />AHFS will connect won machines. (City will furnish utility hook-ups ready <br />for connections). <br />Moving Costs: Move-in and move-out costs will be the liability of AHFS. <br />AHFS must comply with all applicable City agency rules of conduct, policies <br />and procedures while on City premises. Vending machines installed by AHFS <br />must comply with all safety requirements. All State Health Codes are to be <br />followed for the storage of food products and by persons handling food <br />products. <br />AHFS will ensure all perishable products are fresh. All items date-coded must <br />be replaced before expiration date. AHFS will supply only recognized brand- <br />named items (generic items not preferred). <br />
