Description of Work - in space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12- <br />month contract period including, services to be provided, program goals, client <br />characteristics, & how grant funds will be utilized. Laura's House will provide a <br />comprehensive system of shelter and supportive services to assist families who are homeless <br />or at -risk of homelessness due to domestic violence. We plan to serve 150 Santa Ana residents <br />during FY 2005-06. The service objectives are as follows: 1) 24 Hour Hotline Crisis <br />Intervention; 2) Shelter for 30-90 days for abused women and children; 3) Individual and <br />Group Counseling; 4) Domestic Violence, Parenting and Life Skills education; 5) Legal <br />Advocacy to ensure on -going safety and legal rights; 6) Case Management to assist clients <br />in attaining individual goal such as obtaining employment, enhancing job skills, ongoing <br />education, medical and dental needs, and finding safe affordable transitional or permanent <br />housing. The funds will be used as follows: S1,500 Shelter Administrator salary (10%); <br />$4,500.00 Clinical Case Manager (shelter essential services); and S9,000.00 Shelter and <br />Hotline Phones, Facility Maintenance/Repairs, Mileage/Vehicle Expenses (shelter <br />operational costs). <br />Ex.
