COUNCIL AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Councilmenber Acosta requested that staff investigate waiving the <br />utility tax for senior citizens over age 55 and for those persons <br />with annual incomes below $12,000. He also requested the Council <br />to proceed as quickly as possible to fill Planning Cc~mission <br />vacancies. <br /> <br />Councilme~aber Acosta requested an update on code enforcement <br />activities at 1006 North Logan Street and also requested staff <br />investigate circumstances causing delays to Building Department <br />processing activities. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta cu~,,ented briefly on the c~,ents Governor <br />Deukmejian had made to the CuL,uittee on Aging at its recent <br />meeting in Sacramento regarding citizen safety. <br /> <br />Councilmember Johnson coranented on the m~no he had recently <br />circulated regarding a possible candidate for the Cable Board and <br />indicated the Council was attempting to fill vacant positions in a <br />timely manner.
