<br />. <br /> <br />" <br />IN:;URANCE NOT ON FILE <br />WORK MAY NOT PROCEED <br />::lERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE: 8'-1'1-(5 <br /> <br />N-2QQ4-Q37-Q1 <br /> <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />C' f0'S <br />CD ~,M,"" <br /> <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered into <br />this 1 r day of TV L I , 200,r/by and between Mad Science of Orange <br />County ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City''), <br /> <br />Recitals: <br /> <br />A The parties entered into Agreement N-2004-037, dated April 22, 2004, (hereinafter <br />"said Agreement") by which Consultant has instructed "Mad Science" camps <br />through the City's leisure class program, <br /> <br />R In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />renew said Agreement for an additional one-year period, <br /> <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First <br />Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />L Section 2,a, COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation <br />$7,500,00, and shall read in full as follows: <br /> <br />"City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as full payment for its services, <br />the rates and charges as set in Exhibit A, The total sum to be expended pursuant to <br />this Agreement shall not exceed $10,000,00 during the term of this Agreement" <br /> <br />2, Section 3, TERM shall be amended to extend the term through December 31,2005, <br /> <br />3, Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />II <br /> <br />II <br />
