CITY OF PLEASANT HILL EXHIBIT C -6 IMPLEMENTATION PLAN <br />WIRELESS WAN DATA COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM <br />1.5.2 Santa Ana Fire Responsibilities <br />Santa Ana Fire will designate a Project Manager who will direct the Santa Ana Fire <br />efforts and serve as the primary point of contact for Santa Ana Fire. The Santa Ana <br />Fire Project Manager(s) will have significant authority to make certain decisions <br />relative to the project, on behalf of Santa Ana Fire, and will have direct access to the <br />Santa Ana Fire executive management for resolving problems beyond the Project <br />Manager's immediate authority. The responsibilities of the Santa Ana Fire Project <br />Manager(s) include: <br />■ Maintain project communications with Motorola's Project Manager <br />■ Identify the efforts required of the Santa Ana Fire staff to meet the Santa Ana <br />Fire task requirements and milestones in the Statement of Work and Project <br />Schedule. <br />■ Review the preliminary Project Schedule with Motorola's Project Manager and <br />assist Motorola in developing a detailed Project Schedule defining the detailed <br />tasks and a schedule of Motorola and the Santa Ana Fire responsibilities. <br />• Measure and evaluate progress against the Project Schedule. <br />• Monitor the project to ensure that support resources are available as scheduled. <br />• Participate in weekly conference calls. <br />• Participate in Monthly Progress Reviews meetings. <br />• Provide timely responses to issues related to project progress raised by <br />Motorola's Project Manager. <br />■ Liaison and coordinate with other State agencies, other governmental agencies <br />and the Santa Ana Fire vendors, contractors and common carriers. <br />■ Review and administer change control procedures, hardware and software <br />certification, and all related project tasks required to maintain the implementation <br />schedule. <br />■ Approve and release payments in a timely manner predicated on project <br />deliverables. <br />■ Ensure that all appropriate Santa Ana Fire personnel attend and actively <br />participate in Progress Reviews, conference calls, and other project meetings. <br />Exhibit C -6, Implementation Plan Page C6 - 5 05/2/05 <br />CN: 05 -17505 <br />Proposal: B05- 000211 <br />This document contains Motorola and Motorola confidential, proprietary, and trade secret information and may not be shared with any <br />person or agency not directly associated with the City of Santa Ana without the express written consent of Motorola, Inc., or its <br />designees. <br />
