of Santa Ana <br />Exhibit C -3 Statement of Work <br />Jr. Ensure that the necessary technical support is made available for installation, <br />testing, and demonstration of the interfaces. <br />1.10.3 Completion Criteria <br />This task is considered complete when the Interface Description Documents have been <br />prepared and accepted. <br />1.11 Hardware Configuration and Base Software Installation <br />The objective of this task is to order, receive, install and test all principal hardware <br />components, load third party software, and install base application software. <br />During this phase, Motorola will order the contracted hardware components for all <br />servers, the message switch, and CAD workstations, if Motorola is providing <br />workstations. All applicable baseline application software, as well as the equipment <br />vendor's operating system software will be loaded on the server equipment and the <br />servers will be configured. The application software will be the latest available release <br />of software. Once installed, the Customer will inspect the servers for acceptance. <br />Motorola will install and configure the operating system and CAD client software on <br />Motorola provided CAD workstations. <br />The Customer will install the workstations in the training facility and establish <br />connectivity with the CAD server and the Customer's network to test CAD on the <br />LAN, facilitate base software certification, and to provide a training environment. <br />Motorola will install PMDC client software on the mobile client devices for the <br />purpose of training and testing with the configured Premier MDC Message Switch. <br />Motorola will provide training to the Customer's System Administrators on client <br />software installation. <br />1.11.1 Motorola Responsibilities <br />a. Acquire contracted hardware and software. <br />b. Install the computer hardware and operating system software on the servers and <br />associated equipment provided by Motorola. <br />c. Provide and install Motorola and Motorola supplied third -party licensed software. <br />d. Notify the Customer when to expect large equipment deliveries. <br />e.
