of Santa Ana Exhibit C -3 Statement of Work <br />1.18.8.1 Motorola Responsibilities <br />a. Supervise geofile technicians, set work tasks, resolve data issues and ensure <br />geofile production processing remains timely <br />b. Create the common places by using a series of automated and manual techniques <br />as described above, based on Customer - supplied source maps. <br />c. If required, send common place discrepancies to the Customer as part of the <br />Verification Package. <br />1.18.8.2 Customer Responsibilities <br />a. Provide a tabular file that includes the common place names and addresses and/or <br />hardcopy source maps that depict the common place location, name and address in <br />order for Motorola to place common place locations accurately into the GIS data. <br />Non - addressed common places may be provided on hardcopy source maps <br />depicting the common place location and name. <br />b. Answer questions and resolve resource discrepancies that arise during the common <br />place build process. <br />1.18.8.3 Completion Criteria <br />This task is considered complete when Motorola has completed the common place <br />build. <br />1.18.9 Create Boundaries <br />Motorola will build up to three (3) Customer - supplied boundary layers, to be <br />determined during the Service Boundary Workshop. The following provides examples <br />of typical boundaries. <br />❖ City/County Boundaries: The city and county boundaries should not overlap and <br />represent a single geographic layer in the GIS database. <br />❖ Fire Dispatch Zones: Non - overlapping fire dispatch zones, used for fire unit <br />recommendation in the CAD system. <br />❖ EMS Dispatch Zones: Non - overlapping EMS dispatch zones, used for EMS unit <br />recommendation in the CAD system. <br />❖ Statistical Reporting Areas: Non - overlapping statistical reporting areas, used for <br />statistical analysis. <br />Exhibit C -3, Statement of Work Page C3 - 24 05/2/05 <br />CN: 05 -17505 <br />This document contains Motorola and Motorola confidential, proprietary, and trade secret information and may not be shared with any <br />person or agency not directly associated with the City of Santa Ma without the express written consent of Motorola, Inc., or its <br />designees. <br />
