INSURANCE ON FILL <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />/— ( -cllC, <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE. 5 -, (C-- L,5 <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />/�: - a ce, -/ -c'7C° -oi <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered into <br />on June 30, 2005, by and between Jorge Nunez ( "Consultant ") and the City of Santa Ana, <br />a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ( "City "). <br />Recitals: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement N- 2004 -076, dated July 1, 2004, (hereinafter <br />"said Agreement ") by which Consultant has provided Tae - Kwan -Do instruction for <br />the City's leisure class program. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />extend the term of said Agreement for an additional one -year period and to increase <br />compensation to pay for services during the extended term. <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First <br />Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />Section 2.a, COMPENSATION, shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the <br />following: <br />" City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its services, <br />the rates and charges identified in Exhibit A, to a maximum of $10,000.00 per fiscal year. <br />The total sum to be expended under this Agreement shall not exceed $20,000.00 during <br />the term of this Agreement." <br />2. Section3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date one year, from <br />June 30, 2005 through June 30, 2006. <br />3. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />// <br />// <br />
