The Agency maintains the City's engineering <br />drawings, survey information, project documents and development files. To <br />enhance service to customers and members of the public, a project is <br />currently underway to convert these drawings and files and have them <br />available to various users through the City's Laserfiche system. <br /> <br />Because the drawings are frequently used as reference when reviewing and <br />utilizing maps and data in the City's Geographic Information System, <br />integration of the engineering drawings with the GIS system will be part of <br />this project. A proposed agreement with Redlands Software is recommended to <br />provide the needed programming to integrate the drawings with the GIS. <br /> <br />The estimated cost of <br />however, a contingency <br />$75,000. Any increase <br />written approval of the <br /> <br />this programming is anticipated to be $50,000, <br />of $25,000 is recommended, for a total cost of <br />in the agreement amount would be subj ect to the <br />Executive Director of the Public Works Agency. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />25H-1 <br />
