<br />Agreement with Crosstown For <br />Citywide Communication and CCTV Systems <br />October 3, 2005 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />The rates charged by Crosstown are very competitive in the industry. To <br />ensure that costs are minimized, all work will be specifically <br />authorized by the Public Works Agency staff. Based on these <br />circumstances, staff recommends an agreement for maintenance and <br />operational support with Crosstown for a period of two years, with a <br />provision for a one-year extension by mutual agreement. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the <br />recommended action is not considered a CEQA proj ect . Therefore, no <br />environmental documentation is required. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Funds for communication and CCTV systems maintenance and support <br />services in the amount not to exceed $50,000 for Fiscal Year 2005-06 are <br />available in the Public Works Agency account for other traffic signal <br />maintenance (account no. 11-621-6271).
