<br />1 EXHIBIT A <br />2 rn <br />3 AGREEMENT <br />4 BETWEEN <br />5 COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />6 AND <br />7 CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />8 FOR THE PROVISION OF WELFARE-TD-WORK EMPLOYMENT SERVICES <br />9 COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES <br />10 <br />11 1. POPULATION TO BE SERVED <br />12 1.1 The population to be served consists of CalWORKs Welfare-To-Work <br />13 (WTW) participants who: <br />14 1.1.1 Are deemed suitable for this activity by ADMINISTRATOR; <br />15 1.1.2 Have not found unsubsidized employment sufficient to meet <br />16 minimum required hours of participation; <br />17 1.1.3 Continue to meet CalWORKs financial eligibility criteria; <br />18 and <br />19 1.1.4 Currently reside within the city limits of Santa Ana. <br />20 1.2 CONTRACTOR agrees to serve only participants in the CalWORKs WTW <br />21 Program referred to CONTRACTOR by COUNTY under this Agreement. It is mutually <br />22 understood that all services are for the purpose of WTW participants achieving <br />23 self-sufficiency within the CalWORKs time constraints. <br />24 1.3 CalWORKs participants will be required to participate in Community <br />25 Service activities for the required 32/35 hours, unless fewer hours of <br />26 Community Service participation are required by law. <br />27 2.
