<br />County of Orange <br /> <br />September 30, 2005 <br /> <br />28. All runoff is to be channeled away from the subject SCE property unless proper drainage <br />facilities are provided. Drainage facilities shall be installed as shown on the attached plans. <br /> <br />29. Separate plans for temporary drainage and erosion control measures to be used during the rainy <br />season must be submitted prior to October 1. The erosion control devices shown on said plans <br />must be installed by no later than November 1 and maintained in operable condition until April <br />15. <br /> <br />30. All mechanical equipment, including trenchers, working on SCE property must maintain a <br />minimum clearance of two (2) feet from all underground structures. Prior to excavation, <br />Underground Service Alert (1-800-227-2600) shall be notified of the proposed work. All <br />excavation within two (2) feet of SCE's substructure shall be made with hand tools. <br /> <br />31. Construction of crossing (cut or fill) must be adequately sloped to enable access of equipment <br />onto access roads. <br /> <br />32. No rock or similar material greater than 6 inches in diameter will be placed in the fill unless <br />recommendations for such placement have been submitted by the County of Orange Resident <br />Engineer for the project and approved in advance by the Real Estate Operations Division <br /> <br />33. SCE property shall have positive drainage from all areas and have adequate channelization to <br />prevent erosion of slopes and access roads. <br /> <br />34. The driveway area shall be surfaced and shall be capable of supporting forty (40) tons on a three- <br />axle truck. <br /> <br />35. Adequate grounding must be provided on all fencing and metallic structures. <br /> <br />36. Suitable identification markers shall be installed indicating the location and depth of any <br />underground lines and/or pipelines. <br /> <br />37. The proposed storm drain shall be constructed, used, maintained, or removed so as not to <br />damage, endanger or interfere with the construction, use and maintenance of any existing <br />pipelines, underground cables, electric or telephone lines, or other facilities in, on, over, under or <br />across SCE property, including any facilities or improvements of SCE. Where crossing existing <br />pipelines or underground facilities, County of Orange shall place its facilities a reasonably safe <br />distance under or from such existing pipelines or underground facilities. <br /> <br />38. The proposed storm drain shall be of such type of construction and material as to be sufficient <br />and safe for the purposes for which it is to be used and once construction is complete, it shall be <br />maintained by City of Santa Ana at all times in a safe condition, satisfactory to SCE. <br /> <br />39. County of Orange and SCE representatives shall meet prior to occupancy for inspection of all <br />involved structures to determine existing conditions. This inspection will include photographs of <br />all damage and will be documented and signed by the above representatives. <br /> <br />40. SCE shall be notified at least 2 weeks prior to the start of construction in order that <br />arrangements can be made for SCE personnel to monitor operations as deemed necessary by <br />SCE. <br /> <br />4 <br />
