<br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL <br />(RFP No. 2004-009) <br /> <br />FOR PROVIDING VENDING SERVICES <br />AT THE DAN YOUNG SOCCER COMPLEX <br /> <br />GENERAL <br /> <br />The City is interested in entering into an agreement with a quality concessionaire <br />to provide vending service at the Dan Young Soccer Complex (DYSC). The City <br />will provide access to the complex and a permit to vend in return for a <br />percentage of gross sales and monthly fee. No concession facility exists; <br />therefore, the concession operation will need to be contained. <br /> <br />The DYSC is located at Centennial Regional Park, 3000 W. Edinger Avenue. <br />The park is 87 acres and a high school is scheduled to open in 2005 (see <br />Attachment "E"). The DYSC includes three adult fields with one additional youth <br />field scheduled to open in Fall 2004. The DYSC is available for reservations <br />Monday-Friday from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 8:00 a.m.- <br />10:00 p.m. All fields are heavily used year-round. Concessionaires are <br />encouraged to complete their own market survey. <br /> <br />Upon receiving this Request for Proposal (RFP), concessionaire shall notify the <br />City regarding its intent to respond to the RFP. Please include business name, <br />contact, address, phone number, fax number and e-mail address. The City <br />reserves the right to distribute the work in any manner, which will best serve the <br />City's interests. <br /> <br />The proposal shall be limited to fifteen (15) pages, excluding any appendices. A <br />cover letter shall summarize key factors and guarantee that key personnel will be <br />committed to perform the required tasks throughout the duration of the contract. <br />A City Revenue Proposal described in the following section "Contract <br />Consideration" is to be included. <br /> <br />PROPOSED SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />1. For the safety of the public patrons who utilize the complex during events, <br />restrictions may be necessary including items sold, packaging, etc. The City <br />must approve all menu items, packaging and cart locations (or changes to the <br />above). No cans, bottles or gum shall be sold at the complex. <br /> <br />2. No tobacco products shall be sold or advertised. <br /> <br />3. The concessionaire shall be responsible for continual trash removal during <br />the concessionaire's operating hours removal and leave the facility litter free <br />at the end of each day. <br /> <br />1 <br />
