An employee who is assigned <br />as a Paramedic possessing a Registered Nurse license will <br />be paid 20 salary rate ranges (approximately 10%) above <br />his or her regular base rate of pay as a Paramedic as long <br />as he or she possesses a valid, current license as a <br />Registered Nurse from the State of California Board of <br />Registered Nurses. <br /> <br />Shift Investigator Pay. Three (3) sworn personnel <br />selected to serve in the capacity of shift investigators <br />and who have completed the Level I Certification, shall be <br />paid at a rate set 10 salary rate ranges (approximately <br />5%) above his or her then current base monthly salary <br />step. <br /> <br />Technical Truck Pay. Effective July 1, 2005, up to 70 <br />personnel who have successfully completed the requisite <br />Technical Truck training program shall be paid at a rate <br />set 10 salary rate ranges (approximately 5%) above his or <br />her then current base monthly salary step. <br /> <br />Computer Network System Specialist Pay. A sworn employee <br />acting in the capacity of Computer Network System <br />Specialist will be paid at a rate set 20 salary rate <br />ranges (approximately 10%) above his or her then current <br />base monthly salary step. <br /> <br />SCBA Pay. Effective July 1, <br />personnel selected to serve <br />Contained Breathing Apparatus <br />paid at a rate set ten <br />(approximately 5%) above his <br />monthly salary step. <br /> <br />2005, the three (3) sworn <br />in the capacity of Self- <br />(SCBA) Officers shall be <br />(10) salary rate ranges <br />or her then current base <br /> <br />Arson Investigator Pay. Effective July 1, 2005, one (1) <br />sworn employee serving as the Arson Investigator assigned <br />to a non-suppression 40 hour work week shall be paid at a <br />rate set ten (10) salary rate ranges (approximately 5%) <br />above his or her then current base monthly salary step. <br /> <br />Lead Pay. Effective October 1, 2004, an employee covered <br />by this Agreement who is regularly and continuously <br />assigned to lead a functional unit which includes two (2) <br />or more positions in the same or lower classification as <br />the incumbent may be compensated up to twenty (20) salary <br />rate ranges (approximately 10%), for said duties upon <br />mutual agreement of the City and FBA, with approval of the <br /> <br />19 <br />
