<br />Prevention Officer committee such as High Rise, <br />Hazardous Materials, Code Review or any other <br />committee set forth by the President of Orange <br />County FPO; or any TQS proj ect set forth by the <br />Fire Chief, or Stay in School program through the <br />Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD), CPR <br />instructor for SAFD, AAT member; or Empowerment <br />Zone committee. <br /> <br />E. Qualifications. An affected employee who, during the term of this <br />Agreement, is unsuccessful in securing an <br />appointment to one of the Specialized Duty <br />Assignments specified in Section 7. 2D Subsection <br />2, after having formally applied for each and <br />every such assignment he or she has not already <br />completed, may substitute an additional <br />certificate required for the particular incentive <br />level the employee is pursuing; said certificate <br />must have a point value of at least two (2) <br /> <br />2. Subj ect to the condition that it would not be <br />deemed to constitute "hours worked" under <br />provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), <br />non paid volunteer service with a recognized Santa <br />Ana or Orange County community service or <br />charitable organization which serves Santa Ana <br />residents directly or indirectly may be <br />substituted for up to 50% of the service time <br />specified in Section 7.2D Subsection 3 above. <br /> <br />29 <br />
