MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />October 22, 1985 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:29 p.m., by Mayor Daniel E. <br />Griset, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. <br />Councilmembers present were P. Lee Johnson, R. W. Luxembourger, <br />Patricia A. McGuigan, Dan Young and Mayor Griset. Also present <br />~re. City Manager ~ob~rt C. Bob~ City Attorney Edward J. Cooper and <br />±erK of the uouncl± ua"~ice C. Guy. Councilmembers John Acosta and <br />Wilson B. Hart were absent. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />CO~UNITY R~EVELOPMENT AGENCY - CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />The Council ir~nediately recessed to the Cor~nunity Redevelol:ment <br />Agency, reconvened at 8:28 p.m., at which time the Council recessed to <br />Closed Session. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council announced the Council was meeting in Closed <br />Session for the purposes of discussing matters of pending litigation. <br />At 9:20 p.m., the Council reconvened with the same members present. <br /> <br />JOINT PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />76 .A. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO THE DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT A(~REEMENT FOR <br />THE A-10 SITE WITH URBATEC AND OWNER PARTICIPATION AGREE- <br />MENT WITH ACE MUFFLER TRANSMISSION, INC. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the joint public hearing of the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency and the City Council of the City of Santa Ana for <br />the proposed sale of property by the Co~raunity Redevelol~nent Agency of <br />the City of Santa Ana to Urbatec, a California corporation and to Ace <br />Muffler Transmission, Inc., a California corporation et al.; and <br />announced the site proposed to be conveyed to Urbatec was generally <br />located at the northeast corner of Spurgeon Street and First Street <br />extending north to Third Street and east approximately 760 feet, <br />excluding property at the northeast corner of First and French Street; <br />and the site proposed to be conveyed to Ace Muffler Transmission, Inc. <br />et al. was located at 510 East Second Street. <br /> <br />Sandy Daniels, Project Manager, presented the staff report and <br />recommendations. <br /> <br />Staff reported no written communications. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 502 OCTOBER 22, 1985 <br /> <br /> <br />
