CABLEREADY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Approve funding for Phase II equipment to cableready <br />the City Council Chambers and make necessary building <br />improvaments and authorize advertisament for bids. <br /> <br />MOTION: Johnson <br /> <br />SECOND: Young <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Johnson, Young <br />Hart, Luxembourger SPEC 85-027 <br />McGuigan FILE 425.05 <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />At 5:45 p.m., the Council recessed to the Housing Authority and <br />reconvened at 5:46 p.m., at which time the Council recessed to Closed <br />Session. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council announced that the Council was recessing to <br />Closed Session pursuant to Goverr~nent Code Section 54956.9 (A) to <br />confer with the City Attorney regarding pending litigation which has <br />been initiated formally and to which the City is a party, to wit, <br />People vs. Mitchell Bros. et al., and also regarding litigation, <br />identification of which would jeopardize the City's ability to <br />conclude existing settl~nent negotiations to its advantage. <br /> <br />At 6:05 p.m., the Council recessed to dinner. <br /> <br />At 7:30 p.m., Assistant Clerk of the Council William D. Baron convened <br />the evening session of the City Council meeting and announced that the <br />meeting was adjourned due to lack of quort~n. <br /> <br />/_~nice C.
