A contract <br />agreement providing on-call and preventative maintenance is essential <br />for maximum efficiency. <br /> <br />On November 3, 2003, the City Council awarded a contract to Pacific <br />Typewriter & Communications, Inc. for a two-year period, with provision <br />for three one-year renewals. The vendor has performed satisfactorily <br />during the past contract period and has agreed to renew the contract <br />without an increase in pricing.
