<br />. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A-2 <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />SAUSD shall continue to operate a "Weed and Seed Safe Haven" site program at <br />Kennedy Elementary School to provide before and after school, and weekend, activities <br />for local residents. <br /> <br />The program will provide a variety of learning activities and services for youth and <br />adults, including but not limited to, a Breakfast Reading Club and Saturday Science <br />School. Other Weed & Seed Services, not funded by this Agreement, include Academic <br />Assistance and Enrichment Program, including computer technology center, homework <br />assistance and recreation activities. <br /> <br />SAUSD will comply with all reporting requirements of the Executive Office for Weed <br />and Seed. Such requirements include providing monthly report to the City Community <br />Development Agency, describing the number of clients served and the type and level of <br />services provided. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION <br /> <br />The funds provided pursuant to this Agreement will pay for certified instructors at a rate <br />of $50.00 per hour for services provided pursuant to this Agreement. <br /> <br />The instructors shall instruct 18 Saturday Science School (4.5 hours per session) and the <br />Breakfast Reading Club (one hour per meeting). <br />
