Announced that staff was assessing and evaluating rubberized <br />products received from the California Integrated Waste Management <br />Board <br />. Announced that Gloria Estafan was coming to Martinez Book Store on <br />October 29,2005 to promote her new book at 11 :30 a.m. <br />. Noted that the City has received over $1.2 million in park related grants <br /> <br />Councilmember Christy <br />. Congratulated the Discovery Science Center on the success of their <br />recent fund raiser <br />. Reminded residents that the annual Youth Expo will be held on Sunday <br />October 9, 2005 at Santa Ana College at 11 :00 A.M. <br />. Announced that the Episcopal Church at Civic Center and Bush was <br />holding its first concert by candlelight October 9th at 7:00 P.M.; the <br />Meistersingers will be presenting a program of lyrics in Renaissance <br />and modern settings <br />.
