Mercer-Meidinger, <br /> Inc. for pension consulting actuary services relating <br /> to the Pension Financing Program, with maximum costs <br /> not to exceed ~15,000.00. <br /> <br />MOTION: Acosta SECOND: Luxembourger <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Hart, Johnson, <br />Luxembourger, McGuigan, Young <br />None SPEC 85-042 <br />None FILE 500 <br /> 310 <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />At 5:16 p.m., the Council recessed to the Housing Authority, and <br />reconvened at 5:18 p.m., with all members present. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />The Mayor announced the City Council would adjourn to Closed Session <br />and instructed the Clerk to inform the public of the authority and <br />reasons therefore as advised by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council announced that the Council was recessing to <br />Closed Session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(A) to <br />confer with the city Attorney regarding pending litigation which has <br />been initiated formally and to which the City is a party, to wit, <br />Concerned Citizens vs. city of Santa Ana, City of Santa Ana vs. <br />Carlisle Insurance Company, and for discussion of litigation, <br />identification of which would jeopardize the City's ability to <br />conclude existing settlement negotiations to its advantage; pursuant <br />to Government Code section 54956.9(B)(1) to confer regarding pending <br />litigation of significant exposure; and pursuant to Government Code <br />Section 54957.6 to meet with its designated representatives regarding <br />labor relations. <br /> <br />At 6:15 p.m., the Council recessed to dinner in Room 831, City Hall, <br />and reconvened at 7:34 p.m., with all members present except Mayor <br />Griset who rejoined the meeting at 7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />80 <br /> <br />FEBRUARY 18, 1986 <br /> <br /> <br />
