CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Authorize settlement of Morningham vs. the City of Santa Ana in <br />the amount of $6,000 for a compromise and release. <br /> <br />MOTION: Luxembourger SECOND: Johnson <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAINED: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Hart, Johnson, <br /> Luxembourger, Young <br />None <br />None <br />McGuigan FILE 410.10 <br /> <br />ACTION BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />COUNCIL AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta reported he would be presenting information to the <br />Council Public Safety committee relative to police-equipped helicopters. <br />He also inquired as to the deployment of Community Preservation personnel <br />over the weekend stating he had noted a significant number of cars for <br />sale on West First Street, as well as food vendors in the area of McFadden <br />and Main. <br /> <br />Councilmember Young inquired as to the status of project design for the <br />Bristol Street widening and indicated he would like an in-depth report on <br />the subject. <br /> <br />Councilmember Luxembourger requested that the Council Housing Committee <br />meet with developers to discuss residential parking requirements; by the <br />unanimous informal consent of the Council, the matter was referred to the <br />Housing Committee. <br /> <br />The Mayor reported that the Committee system was beginning to be of <br />benefit to the Council in its deliberations, and requested that a letter <br />from Sadie Reid, President of the Santa Ana Unified School District, <br />regarding possible installation of temporary classrooms in the city's <br />parks be referred to the Cultural Events Committee; by the unanimous <br />informal consent of the Council, the matter was referred to the cultural <br />Events Committee. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />At 9:23 p.m., the meeting was adjourned to 8:00 p.m., March 4, 1986, <br />Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana. <br /> <br />~/C~ 2~ ~ eo~ ' t~e~Ycoun c?l ~ <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />104 MARCH 3, 1986 <br /> <br /> <br />
