<br />Shea Homes Residential Project <br />Environmental Impact Report <br /> <br />Findings and Facts in Support of Findings <br /> <br />A-2 Building Plans for the proposed project shall reflect that onsite lighting on the project site <br />is located in such a manner that the direct rays ofthe lighting are confined to the property <br />and would not spill over to adj acent residential areas. <br /> <br />Level of Significance of Impacts Related to Aesthetic Light and Glare Impacts <br /> <br />The adverse impacts of the Shea Homes Residential Project related to aesthetic light and glare <br />impacts would be minimized with the implementation of Mitigation Measure A-2, provided <br />above. <br /> <br />4.2.2 Impacts Related to Impacts to Cultural Resources <br /> <br />Even though the project site has been previously graded there is the potential that unknown <br />archaeological resources and/or unknown human remains could be encountered and impacted <br />significantly during grading operations. <br /> <br />Findings Related to Cultural Resources <br /> <br />A mitigation measure has been incorporated into the project, which avoids, or substantially lessens <br />the significant environmental effect as identified in the EIR. <br /> <br />Facts in Support of the Finding Related to Cultural Resources <br /> <br />Implementation of Mitigation Measure C-l would reduce the adverse significant impacts of the <br />Shea Homes Residential Project related to impacts to unknown cultural resources to a level that <br />would be less than significant. . <br /> <br />C-l In the event unknown cultural resources are encountered, all earthwork activities in the <br />area of the finding shall halt and the City of Santa Ana Environmental coordinator shall <br />be contacted for appropriate action. <br /> <br />Level of Significance of Impacts Related to Cultural Resource Impacts <br /> <br />The adverse impacts of the Shea Homes Residential Project related to cultural resource impacts <br />would be mitigated to below a level of significance based on the implementation of Mitigation <br />Measure C-l, provided above. <br /> <br />4.2.3 Impacts Related to Impacts to Geology <br /> <br />Construction operations associated with the proposed project would involve earthwork activity <br />that could potentially result in erosion impacts. <br /> <br />Findings Related to Geology <br /> <br />A mitigation measure has been incorporated into the project, which avoid or substantially lessen the <br />significant environmental effect as identified in the EIR. <br /> <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />7 5C,,.~5 <br />
