Invitations to serve on the Santa Ana River Task force <br />were sent out to all the neighborhood associations adjacent to the Santa <br />Ana River, environmental organizations and governmental or regulatory <br />agencies that over see improvements in the river. Of the 40 invitations, 22 <br />applications were returned and submitted to City Council for appointment to <br />the task force. <br /> <br />The first Santa Ana River Task Force meeting was held on October 11, 2005, <br />and the Riverview West Neighborhood has expressed interest in serving on <br />the task force. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />~l- <br /> <br /> <br />Community Services Agency <br /> <br />Gerardo Mouet <br />Executive Dir <br />Parks, Recrea <br /> <br />13C-1 <br />
