1. Either a California Admitted Surety/Insurer OR a current Treasury <br />Listed Surety (Federal Register); and, <br />2. Either a current A.M. Best A VIII rated Surety or Insurer. <br />5.2 Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance <br />Occurrence type Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance shall <br />protect the City, its officers, agents, employees, volunteers and Program Manager, <br />from claims for damages for personal injury including wrongful death, as well as <br />from claims for property damages, which may arise from or in connection with <br />the Contractor's performance or the Contractor's omission to perform any term or <br />condition set forth in the Contractor's Construction Contract, whether such <br />performance be by the Contractor or anyone directly or indirectly employed by <br />the Contractor as follows: <br />1. General Liability: $ 1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence for <br />bodily injury, personal injury and property damage. If Commercial General <br />liability Insurance or other form with a general aggregate limit is used, either the <br />general aggregate limit shall apply separately to any act or omission to act by the <br />Contractor under its Construction Contract or the general aggregate limit shall be <br />twice the required occurrence limit; <br />2. Automobile Liability: $1,000,000 combined single limit per accident <br />for bodily injury and property damage. <br />The General Liability and Automobile Liability coverages shall name the <br />Program Manager, the City, and their respective officers, agents, employees and <br />volunteers, as additional insureds, and shall provide that the City and Program <br />Manager shall be given thirty (30) days advance written notice of expiration, <br />reduction or cancellation of such coverage, by certified mail. Program Manager <br />shall cause each Contractor to maintain a Commercial General Liability Policy of <br />insurance with an aggregate limit of liability of not less than $2,000,000.00 <br />products completed operations, a general aggregate of not less than $2,000,000.00 <br />and excess coverage of not less than $2,000,000 each occurrence and general <br />aggregate; provided, however, the City may waive or reduce the minimum <br />coverage requirements with respect to any Contractor. All such policies shall meet <br />the requirements set forth in Section 5.1. <br />5.3 Fire Insurance <br />Program Manager shall, to the extent appropriate, and each Contractor, to <br />the extent appropriate, maintain fire insurance on such party's own equipment and <br />machinery, or adequately self -insure the same. <br />5.4 Property Insurance/Builders Risk <br />
