The primary need that we will be fulfilling for the elderty residents of Santa Ana in our senior program is to provide services, access to information, and the critical socialization that the elderly need in order to keep them active in society. Goal 1: Link Seniors to health and human services. Goal 2: Improve Senior health and well-being byprovii fing a forum for Socialization. Goal 3: Increase Seniors access to critical information and resources Nearly all beneficiaries ofourprogram - especially soca l serviceprograms - should be of "low/moderate-income. " Under this criteri n, the program must provide benefits to Santa Ana residents whose househola incomes are not more than 80% of Orange County's median income, adji rstedforfamily size. The following categories are generally PRESUMED to t e low/moderate- income persons: elderly (62 and older).
