Mr. Reed spoke in <br />support of the passage of Item 19C. <br /> <br />The Mayor recognized the City Manager, Robert C. Bobb who informed <br />Council that in reference to Item 19A on the Consent Calendar, the <br />Legal Aid Society had collected $6,400 on renters loans to date. <br />This information satisfied the provision placed on the passage of <br />Item 19A earlier in the evening. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that the City Council would adjourn to Closed <br />Session and instructed the Clerk to inform the public of the <br />authority and reasons therefore as advised by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />The Assistant Clerk of the Council announced that the Council was <br />recessing to closed session pursuant to Government Code Section <br />54956.9(A) to confer with the City Attorney regarding pending <br />litigation which has been initiated formally, and to which the City <br />is a party, to wit, David Gaspar vs. City of Santa Ana and Clayton <br />Brown vs. City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />At 6:02 p.m., the Council recessed to dinner in Room 831, City Hall, <br />and reconvened at 7:40 p.m., with all members present. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 201 MAY 19, 1986 <br /> <br /> <br />
