<br />) <br /> <br />The Clear Channel Billboard located just south of 2540 South Main by the <br />railroad was repaired and a new advertisement was displayed, although it was <br />quickly covered by graffiti. <br /> <br />Staff is working with SAPO regarding the selling of DVDs and CDs on the streets <br />in the Downtown area. <br /> <br />Enforcement regarding windows in the Downtown area is also being conducted. <br /> <br />3. ADAPTIVE REUSE OF SPURGEON BUILDING <br /> <br />At this time, Steve Harding informed the Committee that he was still waiting to <br />hear from Jay Mehan. Discussion then ensued regarding parking and tenants <br />living in the building. Staff will follow up on these issues. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />DOWNTOWN RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT PROGRAM UPDATE <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />Ben Kaufman provided a handout with items that need to be considered and <br />decided upon for this program. A map showing parking meter locations was also <br />provided. Following a discussion, it was decided that staff would contact the Loft <br />Owners Association and request to be placed on their next meeting agenda to try <br />and educate Phase 1 & 2 Loft owners about monthly passes and the garage <br />security that is available and answer any other questions or concerns they may <br />have. Staff will update the Committee at the next meeting. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />LOFT SURVEY UPDATE <br /> <br />The survey was mailed and six responses were received. Danell Mercado will <br />make further contact with both Associations and update at the next meeting. <br /> <br />6. PROJECT UPDATES <br /> <br />a) 4TH Street Pushcart Status- <br /> <br />The carts have been ordered and payment has been made. The vendors <br />now prefer to have all of the carts delivered at once and have a grand event <br />so delivery of all carts is now anticipated to be February or March 2006. At <br />that time, health department stickers will be available for all the carts.
