GENERAL REVENUE SHARING <br /> <br />The City Manager explained that projects in the General Revenue Sharing Budget <br />listed under Priority 91 were guaranteed funding, that confidence was <br />increasing that those listed under Priority #2 would be funded, and that those <br />contained in #3 were virtually unfunded. He indicated he would update the <br />Council as changes occurred, and that staff would be investigating alternative <br />sources of funding for the four major events scheduled in the Visitor's and <br />Cultural Events Budget which were contained in Priority ~3. <br /> <br />Mayor Griset left the meeting at 11:30 a.m. <br /> <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />The City Manager provided the Councilmembers with a list of the Capital <br />Improvement Projects planned for implementation in the next year and their <br />sources of funding, and a memo which outlined a funding plan for the Bowers <br />Museum expansion. <br /> <br />Councilmembers commented on the Capital Improvement Budget, with Councilmember <br />Luxembourger noting that the MacFadden jog had not been funded in 1986-87. <br />Councilmember Young advised that he supported funding the Bowers Museum <br />Project, and Councilmember McGuigan, that curbs and gutters were needed in the <br />Harbor/Hazard and at First/Moutainview areas. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />At 12:02 p.m., the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />J~i~e C.
