EXHIBIT A <br />SANTA ANA ZOO SOUND SYSTEM <br />Scope of Services <br />Consultant will design the electrical system for the public address system at the Santa Ana Zoo, <br />as follows: <br />Design electrical system for site wide Public Address System including conduits for <br />future C.C.T.V. Recommend 60 speakers 50 ft. o.c. Cost of complete system <br />including amps, wire, conduit, mounting, speakers, etc. is estimated to be forty to <br />seventy thousand dollars. <br />Meet with City staff to design: <br />A. Electrical requirements of equipment. <br />B. Sound requirements. <br />Detail electrical work to support competitive bidding, including: <br />A. Plan drawings. <br />B. Panel schedules. <br />C Single line diagrams. <br />D. Sound block diagrams. <br />E. Device mounting details. <br />F'. Equipment rack elevations. <br />Review shop drawings. <br />Specifications prepared by Mullen and Associates, [nc. <br />6. Field investigation. <br />Compensation <br />Compensation for the above items of work shall be a lump sum fee of five thousand, three <br />hundred ninety-five dollars ($5,395.00), payable in proportion to percentage of work completed. <br />Additional services outside this Scope of Services shall not be performed without the written <br />authorization of the City. When so authorized, Consultant shall provide the services at the <br />following rates: Electrical Engineer $110.00 per hour, Project Engineer $100.00 per hour, <br />Senior Design Engineer $90.00 per hour, Designer $70.00 per hour, Draftsman $60.00 per hour, <br />Clerical $50.00 per hour. <br />
