CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that the City Council would adjourn to Closed <br />Session and instructed the Assistant Clerk of the Council to inform <br />the public of the authority and reasons therefor as advised by the <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />The Assistant Clerk of the Council announced that the Council was <br />recessing to Closed Session pursuant to Government Code Section <br />54956.9(A) to confer with the City Attorney regarding pending <br />litigation which had been initiatedformally, and to which the city <br />was a party, to wit, Tutton vs. City of Santa Aha and People vs. <br />Mitchell Brothers; to meet with its designated representatives <br />regarding labor relations matters pursuant to Government Code Section <br />54957.6; and to consider personnel matters pursuant to Government <br />Code Section 54957. <br /> <br />At 5:11 p.m., the Council recessed to dinner in Room 831, City Hall. <br /> <br />RECONVENED - 7:35 P.M. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />City Councilmembers Acosta, Griset, <br />Hart, Johnson, Luxembourger, <br />McGuigan, Young <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br /> <br />The Reverend Neal Doty <br />Eagles Nest Church <br />1701 E.
