<br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mavor Pro Tem Bist <br />. -'n preparation for the joint meeting with the School Board, asked staff <br />to circulate the agreement for Godinez High School at Centennial Park <br />and also asked staff to do a study to determine if a stop sign or <br />crossing guard is warranted at Grant Elementary School <br />. Asked the City Manager to provide each Councilmember with a copy of <br />the City's agreement for the Little Saigon Sign on First Street <br />. Announced that the Wilshire Square neighborhood held its annual <br />poetic tea <br /> <br />Councilmember Alvarez <br />. Asked staff to explore the feasibility and cost of performing street <br />constructions and repairs during off-peak hours <br />. Asked the Council to adjourn in memory of Fred Munoz, who was a <br />close friend and also served on two City Commissions including the <br />Personnel Board from 1976-79 and the Planning Commission from <br />1979 through 1983 <br /> <br />Councilmember Bustamante <br />. Asked staff to refer the issue of permit parking uses to the <br />Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee <br />. Urged residents to ensure that their children are safe on Halloween <br />and reminded all residents to drive safely and watch for children in the <br />streets <br />.
