Bruce Street, addressed Council expressing <br />concern with Council's recent action of submission of a letter to <br />President Reagan urging the discontinuation of Immigration and <br />Naturalization Services IINS) sweeps. <br /> <br />The following persons expressed similar comments to Mrs. Ravelli's: <br /> <br />Roland Rice, 1809 West St. Andrews Place <br />Dave Lopez, 829 So. Elder Street <br />William Chavez <br />Jim Tucker, 2062 S. Rene Drive <br /> <br />Jim Tucker also expressed concerns relative to unsanitary conditions on <br />the bicycle path along the Flood Control Channel behind 1825 S. Forrest; <br />the matter was informally referred to staff for resolution. <br /> <br />Susan Tully, 518 S. Birch Street, addressed Council, encouraging <br />Councilmembers to investigate California statutes relative to Santa Ana's <br />liability to provide housing, particularly where additional housing <br />impacts school district ability to provide services.
